Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Alfresco or Indoors

Saturday and Sunday – is when the days and nights are for relaxing, catching up with mates and ignoring the week ahead.

From a typical Turkish breakfast with all the extras, to a traditional ‘fry up’ with eggs and sucuk, to a slow long lunch around the shared table with friends, weekends at Lezzet are easy all the way. the Sunday Roast offer includes a Meze platter with Kem’s own dips served beside warm wood-fire Turkish bread. Then there’s barbecued Lamb and Duck with ‘sides’ of garlic chats with bulgur wheat salad and a multilayered dessert of kadayif, cookies n cream and poached pear (a great deal and an easy way to order).

Sunday Dinner has become a ‘Sofra’ habit with most choosing the 3, 4 or 5 course option to round off the day. But the complete a la carte choices are always available also, so everyone’s happy.

Across the weekend the bar is always open, with everything from exotic fruity Turkish mocktails for breakfast through to the stronger options that are mixed with the various Ottoman regions in mind. There’s also a full local and International wine list, and many wines are available by the glass or bottle, so everyone is happy.

Warmer weekends across Summer are especially good, because the alfresco area along the Brighton Road promenade just seems to come to life at this time of year, with the heaters overhead and the windbreak surrounds, it’s a lovely protected space to while away a few easy weekend hours.

Weekend dinners can also be enjoyed at home now with our at home delivery service it’s easy to just pick up the phone and we can bring the delights of dining Turkish style to your home table. We can even supply the alcohol and Turkish soft drinks, so it’s a complete and rounded Turkish experience. Meanwhile, back at Lezzet, it’s a buzzy night where the Turkish village decor and the moody interiors all meld together with the menu choices to make the entire experience one that’s unique yet somehow warmly familiar. Lezzet really is all about the flavours of Turkey witha Melbourne feel.
