Fire Of The Ottomans dinners

For the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival 2012 we are celebrating with a series of ‘Fire Of The Ottomans’ dinners at Lezzet.

300 years ago fire was the only option, Lezzet create five modern courses using only fire and hands.

The meal will feature a Mezze plate including:

Mushrooms stuffed with feta and goat’s cheese, pistacio and olives
Turkish ‘Coffee Cup’ Mussels with creamy onion and garlic sauce
Munti parcels with crab, capsicum jelly and confit of shallots

Skewered Swordfish with cauliflower and hummus puree
Slow cooked eighteen hour Anatolian lamb with capsicum and green olive salsa on pearl cous-cous
Quinoa and bulghur saladKazan Dibi with gazoz (Turkish lemonade) foam and Persian fairy floss.
Chocolate Baklava and Turkish Coffee
